WEEK 1 ¡ OCTOBER 6

Set Yourself Up for Success

Create a system that supports your goals.

We'll look beyond the immediate pleasure of drinking to explore the full experience of alcohol—before, during, and after. You'll begin building simple routines and support systems that make taking a break easier.

YOUR WEEKLY SELF-PRACTICE

Identify your biggest obstacles and create a plan for navigating them.

WEEK 2 ¡ OCTOBER 13, 7:30PM CST

Get Clear on Your Why

Connect your choices to what matters most.

Why are you here? What do you want more of in your life? How might taking time away from alcohol help you get there? We'll connect the dots between your drinking habits, your personal goals, and the life you want to create.

YOUR WEEKLY SELF-PRACTICE

Clarify your core values and identify what you want to prioritize.

WEEK 3 ¡ OCTOBER 20

Understand What Alcohol Does for You

Discover what you need—and new ways to get it.

Drinking serves a purpose. Maybe it's relaxation, connection, confidence, or a way to switch off. We'll explore what alcohol gives you, what it costs you, and how you can meet those same needs in ways that better support your well-being.

YOUR WEEKLY SELF-PRACTICE

Identify the needs alcohol meets, explore alternative solutions, and consider the true cost of each choice.

WEEK 4 ¡ OCTOBER 27

Understand Your Changes & Plan What's Next

Take what you've learned into life beyond October.

As your body and mind adjust to time away from alcohol, you may notice changes in your mood, energy, sleep, or sense of self. We'll explore what's changing, what you've learned, and how to use those insights to make intentional choices moving forward.

YOUR WEEKLY SELF-PRACTICE

Create your personal post-October plan, including potential obstacles, supportive habits, and your next steps.

Meeting time is 7:30PM CST

This is for you if

  • You’re sober-curious and want to explore what a month without alcohol might feel like

  • You have all kinds of cool things you’ve been wanting to do and ready to make the time for it.

  • You want to drink less without making it a big, dramatic thing

  • You know meditation or breathwork would be good for you — but don’t have time or energy to start a practice

  • You want a dedicated space each day to slow down, reset, and check in with yourself

  • You’re curious about what you might notice, feel, or discover when alcohol isn’t part of the picture

  • You want your weekends to feel longer

A note on alcohol dependence:

If your relationship with alcohol feels out of your control, our Sober October group will not provide the level of support you need. However, you shouldn’t navigate it alone. Programs like SMART Recovery, Recovery Dharma, and Alcoholics Anonymous offer valuable community and support. Alcohol dependence can have serious health consequences, and for some people, stopping abruptly can be dangerous or fatal. If you suspect you may be physically dependent on alcohol, please consult a licensed healthcare professional before making changes to your drinking. You deserve to feel well and you deserve qualified support to help get you there.
